Quick & easy measuring shortcuts.
If you know how many feet you normally walk in 10 paces, you can get a ballpark estimate of your gutter dimensions that will translate into a ballpark estimate of price.

Instead of getting on a ladder with your tape measure, just mark a spot on the sidewalk and take 10 paces. Mark that spot and measure the distance. For most people it will be somewhere around 2 feet. Divide your actual measurement by 10 and you have the size of your stride.

Now just walk along the eaves of your house where you want gutters and multiply the number of paces by the size of your step.
